Server Maintenance & Monitoring
Solve IT’s Network Operations Center (NOC) monitors your servers 24x7x365 to ensure that your servers maintain a healthy state and function at an optimal level.  Key applications, services, and physical components are monitored to ensure that issues are discovered and resolved before they cause an outage.   In the rare case where our NOC can’t resolve an issue, they will immediately escalate the issue to our help desk team for further troubleshooting.  In addition, our automated maintenance services update your servers with the latest approved patches as well as ensure your antivirus software is operating and current.

PC Maintenance
Our automated maintenance services guarantee that your personal computers are always up-to-date with the latest Microsoft patches, your antivirus and antispyware software are current and running, and your hard drive is optimized.  In addition, we maintain a complete inventory of all your PCs, their configuration, and the software running on them.

Managed Backups
The backup of your data is one of the most critical items in the operation of your business in order to ensure that you can successfully recover from a system failure or disaster.  Our managed backup service includes providing a network attached storage (NAS) server that continually backs up your data throughout the day and automatically pushes it to redundant secure off-site data centers.  In addition, the NAS serves as a standby server in the event of a system or hardware failure of your physical server.  See also Disaster Recovery/Business Continuance.

Email Filtering
Email spam is one of the largest nuisances facing employees in the workplace today.  In addition, most viruses are transported via email causing even greater disruptions to your operations.  Our email filtering service scans all incoming email for both spam and viruses while quarantining problem emails on an individual user basis so they can be managed by each employee.  In addition, our service includes the storing and spooling of your email in the event of an email server outage which guarantees that your company will never miss an email again.

Server Hosting

Web Site & Email Hosting
For clients that need basic hosting of their web site and email, Solve IT provides and manages these services from our Tier III data center.  Depending on your technical needs, we can provide hosting on either a Windows or Linux platform and support various add-on components including databases and content management.
